The Oakland Aviation Museum

Located in a restored historic hangar at the site of Oakland International Airport's North Field, the Oakland Aviation Museum offers a look at Oakland's aviation history through indoor and outdoor exhibits that feature real airplanes and live presentations. The museum also offers a gift shop and a library. Nearly two dozen aircraft are on display, including military, commercial and recreational aircraft. Guests can even get a close up look of the plane featured in the film Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Wednesday to Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Adults: $10; Seniors (55+): $9; Military/Teen: $7; Children 6-12: $5
